You'll find holiday home Casa Topito in the friendly rural village Puntagorda, just a short walk from shops, restaurants and a bus stop.
There are sea views and the views over the barranco towards the mountains. A good place to enjoy a relaxing holiday in the sunshine and a quiet natural setting.
The area is crisscrossed with walking-paths.
In front of the house is a sunny terrace. On the terraces next to and below the house are an orange and avocado plantation and several fruit trees.

Accommodation

Casa Topito has a living room with open kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom.

In the living room you'll find a sofa and chair and a coffee table and a breakfast bar with stools.
In the kitchen there are a large refrigerator, microwave, small ceramic hob, toaster, electric coffee machine and a good assortment of kitchen utensils. Kitchen towels are available.

Casa Topito has 2 bedrooms. One bedroom has a double bed, the other bedroom has two single beds, all with duvets. In both bedrooms you'll find bedside tables and wardrobes. Extra bed linen and towels are available, there is an ironing-board + iron. In the bathroom you'll find a small bath with shower, washbasin and wc.

Outside

Casa Topito stands in a quiet natural setting and is surrounded by fruit trees and an avocado and orange plantation. There is view up towards the mountains and over the area down to the Atlantic Ocean.

In front of the house is a covered terrace, a lovely place for a good glass of locally produced La Palma wine or eat dinner in the evening sun.
Next to the house is a small terrace where you can enjoy a sunny breakfast.

Area

Puntagorda is one of the most beautiful areas of La Palma. It is in the rural north-west of the island with 2100 inhabitants and is about 1.5 hours drive from the airport.
Puntagorda village has various shops, 2 supermarkets, butcher, a dispensing chemist, doctor, dentist, banks with cash dispensers, a post office, restaurants, typical local bars, library, Lnternet cafes and a public swimming pool (summer). On Saturdays and Sundays there is a market in the Mercadillo selling fresh local farm produce including local wine, cheese, cigars, cakes and fresh fruit and vegetables.
The area around Puntagorda is a must for nature lovers. There are many and varied marked walking paths, view points, some old windmills and El Fayal, a beautiful pine forest with barbecue and picnic area and childrens playground. The area above the village is covered in pine forests, the lower areas towards the cliffs are covered with shrubs and cactus.
There is access to the sea at El Puerto with a tiny pool and rocks but no beach. In the summer months you can swim in the ocean. It is worth a visit if only for the views along the cliffs and the coast.
Puntagorda is ideally situated for trips to the north of La Palma and the highest point of the island Roque de Los Muchachos. There are walking paths along to Tijarafe, Las Tricias, Garafia, and El Tablado. A taxi will drop you at the Roque de Los Muchachos so that you can walk down to Puntagorda.
In January to March the hillsides of Puntagorda are covered in flowering almond trees. Every year, at the end of January or beginning of February, Puntagorda celebrates the Festival of the Flowering Almond.
Puntagorda is ±45 minutes drive to the town of Los Llanos with the famous Plaza de España and the beautiful streets and houses and shops. The sandy beach at Tazacorte is a ±35 minutes drive.
